WILL I REMAIN CLOTHED DURING A REIKI TREATMENT? Yes! Receiving a Reiki Treatment is different than receiving a massage. Since Reiki deals with energy, there is no need to remove clothing. An in person Reiki treatment is done by utilizing various hand positions on or in close proximity to the client but the body is not manipulated in any way. It would be best to wear loose fitting clothing so that you are better able to relax and enjoy the treatment though. Back to Top
WHAT CAN I EXPECT DURING AN IN PERSON REIKI TREATMENT? During your session, I will be placing my hands on or slightly above you. In each position, I will be sending healing energy into your body. You may experience various sensations such as warmth or tingling. You may feel like gentle waves are moving through your body. You may also feel a deep sense of relaxation. DOES THE REIKI PRACTITIONER NEED TO TOUCH ME? I can direct the healing energy either hands off or on. Either way is equally effective. Reiki II practitioners are able to direct healing energy across a room or to anywhere in the world. Back to Top
DOES SENDING REIKI DEPLETE YOUR OWN ENERGY? No. It is not my energy that is being used. I am simply channeling the energy that surrounds us all and sustains life. I actually feel energized after giving a Reiki treatment because I also receive Reiki as well during a session. Back to Top
